Ok, must have been M327. The window in my home office is facing east, and it's always hard to tell which direction the horns are coming from as the sound bounces off of neighboring houses.

22:15 - L302-04 west through South Lyon. CSXT 588 + CSXT 7011 + CSXT 8465 + 139 cars.
Green Oak DD at CH39.1 said 574 axles, 7895 feet. Approx 21:15 - L303-04 east through South Lyon. Green Oak DD at CH39.1 said 484 axles, 6361 feet.

Thank you MUCH to sparrow 24 and others for getting this information, along with the video link of the power that was on L302-04. I was unable to even get out of bed for both of these trains due to my current physical issues. The only thing I knew regarding L303-04 was the DPU in the consist had to be close to being dead center in the middle of a very long train because there were a LOT of cars passing by before I heard the DPU come by, and just as many after.

M326 was annulled in Chicago due to no available power. Either M327 or L303 in GR today (6/5) will be annulled as a result.

After what happened with 69 and 4008, can they really afford to annul L303?

M327-05 used engines CSX 588 and CSX 7011 from L302-04 run back to Grand Rapids. Leaving CSX 8465 in the yard.

L303-05 can still run if they determined CSX 8465’s tonnage rating so they don’t stall out or die mid way.

Green Oak DD at CH39.1 said 300 axles, 4476 feet.

Wyoming Yard Power Problem Issues to be resolved soon. L302-05 by Howell at 17:58 with 69 cars. 3366+3237+5477+5251 on the head end.

U303 went out this afternoon to recrew M326 which died at Grand Junction. Chicago had hoped 326 would make it to Grandville or Lamar but that didn’t happen. Meanwhile Chicago tacked on an extra 2,000 tons to 326 today so the crew was forced to double the hill. At this point they might get 303 put together and air tested in Grand Rapids by the time they get done monkeying around with 326!

U trains are extras. They would have formerly run as X trains.

Correct, this crew is an extra L303 that instead had to go and recrew M326.
