Amtrak P371 hit a semi truck at milepost 16. I believe that is West of Hudsonville. Reported as a private crossing.

857a - game plan for 371 - d702 will bring 371 to waverly siding or yard
........371 said it will be awhile yet before passengers will be able to depart
........listening to engineer - it sounds like the 4604 hit the rear end of the trailer
........the tractor hit the rear of the train
........also zzm news report is incorrect, that is the first private drive east of 64th ave.
........the tractor acted as a pivot point for the trailer, the rear of the trailer was spun to the
........north side and fell away from 371, with the tractor spun south and hitting the passengers
........cars on the north side and dragged about 20' west of the crossing looking at the photo
........thinking 371 was able to stop west of 64th st with flat spots on all wheels

1035a 371 and 702 are coupled together, 702 will drop 371 in the waverly sidng,
........passengers will be off loaded at 112th st. 371 will get the csx 5375 from 327 for
........power to chicago. the 702 crew will spin the 5375 for the amtrak relief crew on
........the wye at waverly and recouple to 371 in the waverly siding, the amtrak relief
........crew was not qualified on the wye, the 5375 is the trail unit on 327.

D700-04 @ 12:53:42am westward with CSXT #6918 + #2318 & 14 cars (5 Coils + 4 Reefers + 5 CH).

N800-04 @ 01:02:26am eastward w/ BNSF engines #8453 + 1 & 128 loaded coal cars & going into Grand Jct Siding mp CG55.6 to tie down.

D700-04 @ 05:32:45am eastward with CSXT #2318 + #6918 & 13 cars (5 Coils + 2 Reefers + 5 CH + 1 Hi-Top).

D801-05 @ 07:22am westward reported by the DD mp CG44.2 with 12 axles & 130 feet long. CSXT engines #989 + #586 lite & headed to the west end of Grand Jct siding mp CG55.6 to DP the N800-04 that had tied down in there. D801 had dropped off an empty coal train into Wells Siding mp CG43.4 prior to cutting away the CSXT engines for Grand Jct.

Per Bangor chat, buses and a freight locomotive have been called for P371. Can’t get PTC to re-initialize after collision.

Bangor chat is reporting it as a dump truck, “at rear of train.” Not sure what that could mean. Last coach would probably derail if hit with any force and would have nothing to do with PTC. So maybe rear of locomotive? If so, it’s lucky there was no derailment and PTC is the only thing preventing onward progress.

I guess a shipping container could be mistaken for a dump truck trailer if someone wasn't paying close attention. But the collision happened at the rear of the truck, not the rear of the train.

Q326-05 @ 10:40am eastward was advised by the Dispatcher he will be going into Grand Junction siding mp CG55.6 to hold there until Q327 is by him. Q326 has CSXT engines #3191 + #5432 & 103 cars.

The game plan is for Q327-05 to cut away his 2nd engine, the CSXT #5375, put that onto Amtrak P371 & tow Amtrak to Chicago. Amtrak is supposed to go to a crossing between 112th Ave & Waverly to de-board the passengers which as of 11:04am that move hasn't happened yet.
