V728 clear South Lyon @10:51. CSXT 5403 + 5414 and 89 cars.
The DD at mp CH104.3 @ 12:57 reported 368 axles & over 5,000 feet long (2 engines & 89 cars). I'm assuming that was for V728.

D705-19 @12:47 clear Plymouth Diamond. CSXT 513 + 492. Huge train.
The huge train would be 140 cars (give or take three cars on each side of that count) About average for two days worth of trains. By Howell at 2:12 pm. 15 scrap tie loads on the head end for GLC, more further back with some stone loads and five empties for Ogihara.

I know crews call it the “M&J” spur, but I’ve also heard it called just the MJ spur, which I think stands for Mead Johnson, which is where this spur originally terminated on the east side of Zeeland. D702 picked up on lumber empty at Z Lumber, set off zero. Happy to have the slug back, what did Barr do, change a light bulb :?:

There is also one empty lumber centerbeam at De Leeuw Lumber in Holland.
