D700 goes on duty at 8 pm because D702 goes on duty at 8 am. They space them 12 hours apart because they both use the same locomotive(s), ensuring that the previous crew will always be finished or dead by the time the next crew comes on duty.
Ohhh, ok, I understand that now Thank you SD80MAC
Also, do you happen to know the reason why EC1's are written for Grand Rapids to Lake Odessa for the east bounds & from Ensel to Lake Odessa for the west bounds? Thank you.

You might be hearing eastbounds get their EC-1 authority in Grand Rapids, but the authority for both east and westbounds is only required for the territory between EE Lake Odessa and Ensel. This part of the line does not have CTC, just ABS. Before CSX adapted EC-1s, trains would get block authority through there.
What sounded like V764, by Howell at 04:15 with 90 all CSX cars. CSX 309+3293 on the head end. Assume its going to Webberville seeing 708 had a rush move yesterday to get of a bunch of stray cars out of the plant. Speaking of, 708 was in the siding at Howell when V764 went west after picking up two scrap loads at Ogihara, and leaving 12 others in the round around, They will pick up all 14 of them up on their way west. They are leaving 31 cars in the Howell pass for GLC and picking up about the same left by GLC yesterday or overnight.
Saw a photo of a new CSX repaint from Huntington today. 165 ex YN2. First repaint using a new paint brand and type.
V764 was in Webberville. It came in after the K train left.
ADM Grand Ledge hasn’t been shipping by rail. Sources tell me they are potentially shipping by truck to the ethanol place in Woodbury.
D706-18 @ 2:01pm gave his Grand Rapids mark up to the RN Dispatcher. CSXT engines #4064 + #5345 & 70 cars (38 loaded + 32 empty). He has set off & pick up work for Lansing but he didn't say how many cars are involved.

D706-18 @ 3:45pm eastward reported by the DD mp CH104.3 all that was heard was "no defects, no defects" & no other data. For these past 4 days or so the reports heard from this DD site have been fragmented & we used to hear these calls clearly. CSXT engines #4064 + #5345 & 70 cars.
As of 3:57pm, nothing has been heard from Q326-18. Usually, the Broadcastify scanner will hear the eastbound trains around mp CG95 which gives me just a little more than 1 hour's notice before they arrive at the Bangor live cam at mp CG60.7 Yesterday's Q327 was re-crewed around 4:30pm & we kind of guessed today's Q326 would be running later in the day due to the required rest periods for the train crew.
