As of about an hour ago, there was an empty coal train sitting on the main at McGrew in Flint. I'm not sure if it's gone south since then.

Late report: at 14:30, Macatawa Bay and Terminal RR 65-ton #04491 completed their weigh of a scrap gon on the scale at Padnos, Holland and spotted the car with another load for CSX pickup on Monday. They promptly returned the venerable GE to its parking spot, set the brakes, chocked the wheels, and finished up for the weekend.

HESR or whomever was sitting on the ex C&O track in Alma this afternoon. Had a bunch of TSBY hoppers to the east of them up the line. Snooped about Alma for awhile, found our old engine house and such. Neat to see track I was on back in 1978 still in use. Not much left up there. I see more then a few buildings with Alma Products moniker on them but they look abandoned as does the Leonard/Total Refinery grounds. Havn't been up there in years. Sad to see.
