Salem is just east of South Lyon. You learn something new everyday. D705 by Howell at 16:28. 3329+595 up front with 180 cars. DPU 751 was behind the 87th car. First 53 cars were stone loads that SW reported coming north yesterday and turning east towards Detroit with the same amount of cars in a unit train. 705 had two separate sections of fly ash cars. Probably the same sets I saw on yesterdays 706 that went east by mistake and they are bringing them back,
We were out by the tracks in South Lyon when it should have come by, so I guess I don't understand how we missed it. Also, I already know where Salem is, I just needed it to be specified.

Not to be annoying but anyone know anything about the eastbound lined up at Trowbridge?

Edit: never mind I looked at ATCS wrong

Caught them 1 mile east of Woodbury. Power as described. Still a midtrain DPU and lots of stone loads on the head end. Also noticed a railfan type at the crossing filming just the DPU.

D801-25 @ 10:50pm eastward, siding to main, east end of Grand Junction mp CG53.9 He's moving N800-24 out of Grand Junction with BNSF engines #6074 + 1 & 129 loaded coal cars & with a single rear DPU, the CSX #817. Sounds like they are moving the train to Wells & leaving it out on the main & cutting the train to take half the cars over the Saugatuck Hill. Will verify the consist when he's reported by the DD at mp CG44.2
D801-25 @ 11:21pm eastward reported by the DD mp CG44.2 with 534 axles & 6,971 feet long. Axle math works out to be 3 engines & 129 cars. They did stop on the main at Wells to cut their train.
Note: in the past, CSX #817 was paired up with the CSX #3065 to work the D801 & D802 jobs. On Oct 22nd, the CSX #3065 was taken to Chicago on Q327 & since then the CSX #817 has not been paired up with another engine.

D706 been OD since 12:25 AM.
D706-26 between 04:39am/05:09am eastward reported by the DD mp CH126.3 with 746 axles & 11,098 feet long. CSX engines #751 + #595 + mid CSX #3329 & 182 cars. I had heard on the scanner last nite the yarding instructions for D905 & they had said which engine was to be the DPU, so, assuming that's how the engines are arranged today.

Trying to figure this out:
D705-24 ran a day late yesterday. Was recrewed as d905-24 around 8 to yard the train.

Supposedly there was also a D705-25 out late last night. Did they do an extra pickup at AP, Ensel etc? Was spotted in Williamston around 7:30 PM but didn’t get power numbers.
