D906 has been dead in the Fowlerville siding since 06:30. RN was hoping to get the train to Plymouth before they outlawed, but that did not happen when the train went into emergency in Williamston at 03:55 with a broken air hose 56 cars deep. "Only" 114 cars in its train. Last I heard, the trailing unit was low on water, low on fuel, and low on crews to come and get it this time. Will the train now become X706 when the third crew arrives?

Q326-17 @ 09:53am eastward cleared the St Joseph Bridge with CSX engine #222 & probably also has CSX #395. No DD report from mp CG91.9 was heard. Found the DD91.9 report in the archives: 236 axles & 3,437 ft long = 2 engines & 56 cars.

Apparently on Thursday’s D705 they had a cut of 26 BLEX covered hoppers that came from JAIL’s Saginaw Yard. They are being sent to Danville, Illinois for scrap.

D906 with crew #3 departing Fowlerville at 12:55 with its assigned two units. There were supposed to be cars in the train for GLC that were going to be set out in Brighton, but evidently are part of the 64 cars left at Elmdale by crew #1 or #2. Speaking of GLC, the 83 cars they left for CSX in the Howell pass yesterday are still there as D708 went no further east than a mile west of town, and turned around and went back west from Ogihara. Then, GLC was in town an hour ago, even on Saturday, setting off more cars for CSX in the transfer.

Love the picture associated with your posts, Lansing Rail Fan, as I am very familiar who that is.

Bob - how many cars does GLC have now for d708?

I think D708 is holding off on bringing more back to Ensel because they get bombed with cars Friday and Saturday from D706 and D705.

D708 worked six hours in the yard on Monday just sorting everything which is what set them back so much and led them to die in Howell.

There’s over 200 cars currently in Detroit for D705. Maybe they will sort em and do one train just for Lansing and one to continue on to GR?

Ahhhh. Now I know who it is. I knew I had seem him before but couldn't place him. How could I forget? I almost couldn't stand it anymore and was about ready to cry uncle and ask who it was. The cropping is excellent by the way.
