Per Can't Be Shook's post at 10:21 this morning, D705 is planned for 3p out of Detroit. So I'd say you should expect D705 in South Lyon no earlier than 6p. It usually takes at least two hours to build a train of D705's typical length and then time to get to you.

Remember that D705 is recrewed by the crew from D706 the day before, so they get their rest period before returning. Therefore typically there has been 20-24 hours between when D706 goes east, and D705 comes back west.

D-70808 departed Howell westbound at 18:38 with 60 GLC cars for Lansing picked up off the Howell pass. Their entire train out of Lansing today was 64 cars for GLC, nearly half were ash car loads, and had to go to Brighton to run around their train. They left those 64 cars parked on the main which means D-705 will have to run thru the pass here later, and if GLC does not pick them later tonight. Tomorrows D-706 will have to the same thing. That ought to go over big.
