Just for the record, some Friday and Saturday July 24 & 25 action on the LSRC.

Friday evening, the turn from Grayling to Gaylord and back (393? 394?) ran with the 4304 & 304 for power. Went north with 5 cars.
Around 1915, the 304 was switching at the elevator south of Standish. 4325 & 800 for power. Had about 10 cars going north.

The Saturday morning Z127 came up to Flint with the 6304 and 6352 for power. Left the train south of Carpenter Road and went in to the yard to get the southbound train together. Later after departing they ran in to power issues. 6305 and 6351 went to rescue and take the whole train to Wixom.
Z388 came south from Saginaw in the morning with coal empties. A pair of BNSF ACe’s for power. Recrewed at McGrew and left around 2:45pm.
Y110 left Saginaw south for Flint about 1245 with Z145’s train plus some other freight. 6302 and 6301 for power.

GRE was in Lowell today. Left 4 more hoppers. Rail may be light for a few weeks while the local wheat trucks unload at King.

Marquette Rail was Northbound in Comstock Park just after noon today. There was two empty center beam flats to be picked up at Standard Lumber. They only had two boxcars out of Grand Rapids today. I heard them Southbound just after 10:00 this morning.

Anyone notice the "for sale by owner" sign on the 3406?
