CSX Train Location Updates: June, 2020.

Last night the D700 crew took an empty coal train to Chicago. Supposed to be on duty at 02:30 Wednesday morning, we’ll see if they end up doing their actual work or something else.

D700-23 @ 07:27:58am at Bangor's Center St crossing mp CG60.35 with BNSF engines #5625 + #8409 & 260 empty coal cars. He is going to drop off half of those cars at Grey mp CG82.8 & the other half at New Buffalo mp CG113.9. Then the crew will either be taxied to Gross siding mp CG63.1 or take both of those BNSF engines to pick up the work train there. They've talked about both of these options for the crew of D700.
As of 08:20am, nothing at all heard for Q327 & was not seen on the Bangor rewind.
MoW @ 08:32am eastward from Gross to Grand Junction, another parade of many machines. Guessing Q327 may run later today when these machines clear up for the day.
D700-23 @ 12:32pm eastward Bangor's Division Street mp CG60.93 with CSX engine #5479 & 34 cars. He's hauling the W035 work train. May be headed to the siding at Waverly before 112th Ave from what was heard on the scanner.
Q326-24 @ 1:08pm at State Line (IL & IN border) was heard being contacted by the Dispatcher.
MoW @ 1:16pm westward parade Bangor mp CG60.7 headed back to Gross siding mp CG61.3

Looks like they're going to run P370 on Monday evening from Chicago with a Bangor stop. Someone came into Bangor chat & had mentioned that & I was able to make a reservation for that train on Amtrak's web site.

Hearing D802 coming out of the siding in saugatuck. Mentioned to the dispatch that they were okay being lined up to Waverly and D702 told them they are good to drop whatever they are dropping on 4 track.

From the field.....CSX is combining 2- N800's in Chicago into 1 train. 14,000 feet over 36,000 tons 1052 axles. 4 locos and will drop the rear section at Grand Junction and the head end will continue to West Olive.
