On sheet at 112th Ave / East Waverly 08:00

This new walking trail between the power plant and railroad at Holland north/east of the station is sweet...good view back to the west end of Waverly, and southwards to the Holland depot. Watching 327 make their pickup.

Any coal moving today?

Hearing Q327 is on the move (faint radio on the CSX #511) & saw E801 posted by CantBeShook but nothing for loaded coals.

Q327 by Pullman at 10:04. They reported a rough section of track at 35.8, just east of the bridge at a washout repair from earlier in the year - inspector is on the case!

D702 is somewhere on the Dock Track.

Q326-01 @ 2:13pm reported by the DD mp CG91.9 with CSX engines #594 + #5437. It might have 64 or 65 cars due to an axle eror count for 270 axles. (We have a viewer there on site & had confirmed the engines and took video & found the train has 64 cars).
Q326-01 @ 3:19:52pm at Bangor's Dividsion St crossing mp CG60.93

D801-01 @ 4:27pm reported from the north leg of the Wye with BNSF engine #8594 that should be paired with the BNSF #9092.
D801-01 @ 4:58pm reported westwards from mp CG28.
I thought I was hearing "E" and after reviewing the radio archieves it turned out to be "D801".
D801-01 @ 5:34pm was reported by the DD mp CG44.2 with 532 axles. BNSF engines #8594 + #9092 & 130 empty coal cars.
At 5:43pm "D801-01" reported an Approach Medium signal at mp CG51 & apparently is diverging into Grand Junction siding mp CG53.9

Bah! Of course, only heard them on the scanner when I was nearly to Hudsonville with 326. Oh well. 260 miles is enough for one day.

Q327 from Grandville to Bravo
D702 from Holland to just south of Holland (no Hamilton run today)
Z627 from Holland to Grand Haven
Q326 from Bangor to Grandville

I corrected my earlier post regarding E801-01, it appears he is actually "D801-01" & was taking the BNSF engines & 130 empty coal cars onto Grand Junction siding.

Just to further confuse you, D801 did indeed take the train to Grand Junction. Then E80101's crew got on at Grand Junction and took the train west. Is frustrating from a listening perspective that there are D & E & N 801's that run.

Thankyou ~Z~, wish they used different letters! I edited my previous post to reflect "E".
