Late report from Grand Rapids:

At 11am today, the remote yard job with CSXT 6560 was switching the City Market spur, pulling on Cryotrans reefer from MNS. They also had two boxcars, probably from Columbian? They returned to the old Main where a single additional boxcar was waiting. Would this same job also switch PCA near Ivanrest? If so, they were heading that way at Lamar at 09:45.

In addition to this activity, 5 gons were spotted at the new Beacon Recycling facility at Godfrey. Standard Lumber in Grandville was empty. D702 switched Zeeland yesterday, retrieving the single empty centerbeam from Zeeland Lumber and NOKL 820634, a covered hoppers at Vanden Bosch Feed, I think their 6th loaf of the year.

Q-131 & 132 operation ceased when the auto companies shut down. Q-151& 152 likewise downsized due to economy, those cars now part of the Q508 & 509. Would "think" they will return when auto companies really back up and running down Mexico way as well

The Q327-30 land barge has CSX 843, 3321 as the mid train helper with 4035 & 2649 dead in tow behind the mid train helper. Chased this land barge past Hudsonville and this is one of the biggest land barges I've seen! Wondering if this is the new normal for 326/327?

544 axles - 7086' - 2 motors - 133 cars

cancel all above
I 6 axle lead approx. 102 cars , then 1 6 axle and 2 4 axles by the looks , but had min another 80 to 100 cars after the mid train dpu's
axle count way off at 19.1 or else I heard it all wrong, also on front of consist was a flat wheel which made a loud cluck sound

Q326-31 was stopped at New Buffalo at 12:40 pm, and the signals at Livingston were lined for an eastbound earlier. I caught Q327 in St. Joseph and drove to New Buffalo. I went to the gas station and tried to get back to the tracks around 1 pm, but traffic wb on Whittaker (sp?) St. was stopped around the curve, so I couldn't see what was blocking the crossing. Going back east on I-94, I did not see any trains by Bridgman where the tracks parallel the highway, and nothing was going underneath I-94 at exit 23 (Stevensville) at 1:15 pm. I am home listening to my scanner. Nothing coming in as I type this at 1:32 pm. I imagine N800 will be coming shortly followed by Q326.
