Would the wheat have been barged into Irondale then transloaded into covered hoppers for delivery to Kings Mill?

GRE currently stopped in Ada working Amway. One hopper went into the facility.

As of 1430, GRE is working King. They did not pull any empties from Amway.

I could only find a Cargill Oils terminal and a COFCO terminal along the Calumet River that looked appropriate. Neither operation seemed to be wheat oriented.

Thank you for checking. I enjoy the logistics of car routings :)

Me too:) This is an odd one. Usually a little sleuthing and I can figure out the shipper / receivers. This one is a mystery. Maybe Planner Dad can go see if it's wheat spilled on the ground.

I’ll get my homemade mask and check. Looks like they are being unloaded at the usual place. There has been some discussion about a different product at King, but I don’t know enough about it yet.

From Cwayne at MichiganRailroads.com. Several good updates by Elba Steve. Some of these windmill trains are destined for the thumb area but some also are unloaded at the dock by LSRC Bay City Yard.

Thx...got down to Ball Ave at 3:10. I'm too late obviously, but now I can head back south instead of waiting around.
