ONTN swapped power in Clare with CSTN. CSTN has 397 leading the 329 north and ONTN has 382 leading the 393 back south.

13:14 crews are putting trains together in Clare.
13:22 CSTN is leaving town northbound and ONTN is switching the Plastic Company.

397 and 329 into Cadillac at 1520 with 21 cars. Mostly ties, couple cottonseed cars and tanks. Nothing for TC. Plenty of cement and plastics hoppers sitting in Tufford Yard waiting to go north.

Well they must have been up here in TC today. I didn't see them but there was sand pushed up out of the flange guides at both Airport rd. crossings. There were two box cars on the main in front of Beacon salvage, maybe to be scrapped.

397 and 10 tie gons leaving Cadillac at 0900. Most likely only running to McBain this morning.

Edit: Back into town at 1005.

Not 100 % sure, but sounded like 397 is headed north of Cadillac at 1045.

Henry, one was a beat up blue car with small TSBY markings, the other was a sort of orange/brown, but couldn't see the markings.

Orange/brown sounds like one of the old AA 50's

I found my log in!!

No train yesterday, but one today. Those two box cars have been there over a year. There were also (as of yesterday) 2 gons loaded with scrap at Beacon, and an empty center beam at Amerhart.

Saw 397 back on the north end at 1545. Looked like a short string of tanks and cement hoppers brought back into town.

I wonder why they are just sitting on the main. Are they to be scrapped or maybe used for storage?

To be scrapped like all the other TSBY cars they scrapped in the last couple years. One looks to be filled with junk (guessing metals that came from GLC to also be scrapped). I would not call that sitting on the main anymore being the track is OOS beyond those cars (section of rail pulled to make it legit).

Leaving Cadillac towards Clare at 1140. Continued on to Marion and spotted the empty gons that were pulled on the siding.

329 and 397 leaving Cadillac for Clare at 0940. Almost 30 cars. I'm assuming the empty gons in Marion will be added to the consist.

Nothing seen or heard on the south side of Cadillac this morning. Assuming northbound. Didn't catch the inbounds the past two days. I do know there was cement waiting to go north in Tufford.

GLC has another big drop for CSX today. D708 is headed out there shortly from Lansing to clear out siding and drop some stuff off.
