Does Z151 have a daylight schedule now? This past week they have all been mid morning southbounds and around noon northbounds.

Seems like it, train is usually parked just north of Turner sometime after 4. They'll sit there for a few hours to let CSX and Amtrak do their thing then between the morning "rush" and 329 sneak in and out of Wyoming. Who knows how long it will last.

The Z151 from Friday 3-6 with six units dropped an SD-40 in Wyoming yard but I could not see the number or why it got dropped in Wyoming yard. Anyone know what's up with this unit?

This is late and won’t help anyone, but maybe it’s good for future reference. LSRC 6355 and 6352 left Wixom at 7:47am for Flint, and I later caught 6351 and 6302 heading south through Holly at 11:00 (and they presumably arrived in Wixom sometime after).

This was my first time ‘chasing’ on this line...they can move! I’ll have to remember that for next time.

What I believe rivals the longest train I have ever seen on Michigan Shore is on its way between Ferrysburg and Muskegon. The normal consist was sandwiched between what must be storage gondolas. The power was out of sight north of 3rd st in Ferrysburg and the last car was just crossing Coho dr in Grand Haven when I drove past.

The gons are for that new customer loading ash.

Caught up to them in the Heights. They look like brand new gons. Who is shipping ash, the BC Cobb remains?

I counted 76 cars after looking back at my video. The last "big one" a few years ago was something like 54 cars.

Where able to see if the gondolas had covers?

They will be getting covers as they're loaded. It sounds like they will not be loading them right away. It also sounds like they could be loading bottom ash from Campbell as well. If this is the case, the business could last for quite some time.

Michigan Shore is stopped north of the swing bridge waiting for the conductor to open the bridge. Should be heading towards Muskegon in a few minutes. 2025, 2019 and the usual mix of cars.
