Two SB's on the Holly early this morning. One at 4 am (very short) and one at 4:50 am (very long). Didn't get up to see what they were.

How are you doing sir? Hope you are well.

Most likely, those would have been 116 and 402, unless 116 came earlier and one of the SB's was either a Sand Train or an Empty Autorack train.

I like reading your and others 515 reports as I have never seen this train before. What kind of cars are on these trains and what is the typical car counts?

Train 515 with 5416 again today is SB past MP 22.5 at 9:10 am with a shorter train today. 5416 went south on the Holly last night on an extra 515/513.

251 north at Birmingham with IC 2460 and BCOL 4654.

And the BCR unit was really throwing the smoke as it went by here a few minutes later, and not just from the exhaust stack but from around it. Two blue units today as 2460 is an ex-jointly owned Conrail/CN locomotive in Conrail blue still.

Train 515 went NB at 5:56 pm past MP 22.5 on Main 1 and Train 514 is SB passing right now at 6:03 on Main 2 with 5413/5340 and a few containers.

M385 & A482 met in New Haven at 13:50.
385 had CN 2844 & 2850. 482 had CN 2247 & 5781 with 81 cars.

514 is northbound Holly Subdivision MP57. Also have GLC to run from Durand to Pitt.

402 has a setout & pickup at Durand. 116 is waiting for traffic before they head down the Holly.

Northbound 401 by Linden at 11:15am with 4 CN locos, 2 regular CN colors, 2 Blue CN, 144 cars. Lots of sand cars on the rear, but not a full train of sand cars.

UPDATE at 11:21am - 401 with the CN 5730 is going to highball Durand, no work in Durand!!
