At 5:15 pm a pair of CN GE's drifted south lite past MP 22.5. Maybe 514's power today? Or maybe an extra container train out of Moterm? It is Thursday.

And just after they cleared, Train 515 went flying NB heading back to Pontiac after a day on the Holly and MC Subs with 5459 again and a short train.

Train 401 is NB passing MP 22.5 at 6:38 am with 5722 leading a cowl, probably the power from yesterday's 402.

And 402 is SB passing MP 22.5 at 7:30 am with two UP units, the second one painted up in CNW colors, #1995. Looks good. I used to chase and photograph CNW in the Upper Peninsula for years back in the good 'ole days.

Train 251 with a 5600 leading a red and white former BCR cowl NB past MP 22.5 at 1:30 pm.

SB 514 went by MP 22.5 at 6:05 pm, slowly following Amtrak 355 down the Hill, with 5413 and 5340 again. The SD40-2 is in the old CN North America scheme with the map on it, probably its second (and last?) paintscheme from the mid-1990's. It is very faded. It had a fair number of containers today.

Is there any specific power rotation for trains anymore where this may come back east? Or is it garunteed to keep going west?

For those who don't know 1995 is in CNW paint, up with a flag on it. By 205 at 1225. Long cut of empty beam cars on it. To my knowledge 401 only runs as far as battle creek.
