Compared to westbound traffic, there's not as much through traffic that comes east out of Chicago via GR for Detroit, owing to the hill. 80-90% of Q326 on any given day is for customers or railroads served by Grand Rapids and its outlying terminals.

G94401, eastbound grain load from Webberville, by Howell at 18:40 with 84 cars, Crew will take the train to Joy Road Plymouth for a recrew. This is the train from grain empty V81028 last Friday morning that the crew could not spot because Webberville was not ready for it, and was taken to Trowbridge. A G010 crew brought the train back to Webberville late Saturday and had it spotted in the plant by 21:00.

Q32903, out of Detroit at 05:27 this morning was by Howell at 8:17 with CSX 5293+5420+416 with 181 cars. D708 had no cars back to Lansing on Monday so there should not be much of a pick up unless JAIL delivered something. Yet another 30 loads of stone and rip rap on the head end. The last 80 or more cars on the train were short to medium tank cars, perhaps on their way to storage somewhere like the coal empty last week.

Forgot to mention that Q32803 went east by Howell this morning with CSX 3345+5224 with 86 cars. Trailing unit 5224 was reported as 5234 at Bangor yesterday. 5224 was one of thirteen 5200 series units that were delivered to CSX in primer paint when new back in 2005 and ran that way for several months before being returned to GE for paint at a different plant beside Erie. That plant put a CSXT stencil on them just below the number on all 13 which none of the others had that came with full paint to start with. Many of those 13 remain stenciled that way yet today.

D70803 took two of the three CN units that was on Q326 on Nov 28th to Peaker today, 8876 & 8954. 8853 did not come with them. Coming back west they also had two CN units but could not see the numbers to confirm if they were two other units already there or if for some reason they could not deliver the two units going east today and they brought the same two back west with them. If anybody sees these two in GRP tomorrow on Q329, please confirm the numbers. The only other CN unit I knew was there was 8866 but being gone out east for two weeks in October, another unit could have gone there that I was not aware of. One of the two units going west on D708 a few minutes ago looked to be 8857 but can not confirm that.

I think it's a relatively long one tonight, so keep an hear open for the axle count on the Zeeland DD.

Q327 still hasn't departed Grand Rapids as of 19:21 but are still preparing to depart. Q329 today had CSX engines #5293 + #5420 + #416 & hearing Q327 on the radio from CSX #5293. Also heard earlier they were to have a CN engine but didn't hear its # being mentioned. Q327 was heard saying they have 167 cars & 143 of them are empty & they are to set off some cars in Holland tonight.
