D700 headed back East.
Guess his apparent return to days means they’re done with rehab work for the season. Had hoped they would get to changing the very rough Glenlord Rd grade crossing. Maybe next summer.

Crossings are done by a different crew than rail and ties IIRC.

D700 eastward cleared the St Joseph Bridge with CSX engine #4028 @15:22
D700 local freight eastward at Bangor mp CG60.7 @ 16:19:05 with CSX engine #4028 & 13 cars (1 coil, 11 CH, & 1 flat).

N801-26 at Bangor mp Cg60.7 @ 17:51:39 with BNSF engines #5859 + 1 & 129 cars. Being tied down in Grand Junction siding mp CG55.6 (no DP available).

No still on nights for the time being local manager likes for everyone to work nights, don't have anyone to work since JP retired/vacation days. Pulled crew off 106 to run the train this morning.

Three more CN units coming my way again soon for Peaker to work on I see. Q32928 had CSX 3093 single unit with 65 cars when it went by Howell at 08:17 this morning. Q32828 went east at 07:35 with 86 cars and CSX 5409+4289 on the head end. FINALLY.. 4289, AFTER 158 DAYS, of being on D708 (since June 24th) this unit will be moving elsewhere beside Lansing. Not that it wont come back. Any consolation for being on D708 for so long, have been pretending this unit is still a GP39, not an SD40-3.
