Northbound on the Mt. Clemens Sub, crossing Hall Road/M-59 right now (5:32pm). Noticed a longish string of TSBY covered hoppers in the train. It could be 384, but I'm not familiar with what runs at this time of day anymore.

M382. CN/CN/CN, 180 cars. Lots and lots of grain moving to eastern Canada these days, and yes, much of it in TSBY hoppers lately. Mount Clemens sub is virtually a 30-35 mile per hour slow order from Detroit (Nolan) all the way to Port Huron (Tappan), so if anyone is inclined to chase trains it's fairly easy - for now.

Any one know where the TSBY cars are being loaded? On the IORY perhaps?

Thanks. That explains why it sounded like they were throttling up as they crossed Hall Road.Man o' War wrote:GreatLakesRailfan wrote:Northbound on the Mt. Power was CN 3831, CN 2819, CN 3841.
For AARR, two of the car numbers, if you can find someone to track them:
TSBY 710009
TSBY 710013

348 ended up waiting for 382 to exit off the Shared Assets at Vinewood in Detroit. IC 2726 and CN 2163 on 348.
The 348 was extra that ran empty autoracks from Battle Creek to Flat Rock.
