OK bnsfben, the tunnel has not been "Reopened" since they still have to lay the track! OK, I am going to Royal Oak for a few hours today, Sat. 7-6!!!! I am definitely going to catch the "Re-routes!!!!" Now, does anyone know if
B&LE SD38-2 #878 will be working the Holly Subdivision today?

B&LE 878 was seen as the second unit on a local at Durand at around 11:30. Don't have an ID. Ex-Oakway SD60 leading
Railfan from Kosciusko County. Canon EOS Rebel T100 is my go-to for train photos

OK, I saw this train in Royal Oak today, 7-6!!!! It was led by a CREX ES44AC, BNSF SD75M (ex ATSF?) and a BNSF ES44AC (unsure of loco numbers)!!!!!!!! What train is this? It seems like one of those "Re-routes!!!!" WOW, finally I get a "Re-routed" train!!!! I also saw a local GTW with one car and GP38-2 #4912, 2:06 p.m. Around 2:18 p.m. was Amtrak® 350 with a Siemens® Charger™ locomotive at each end! That's all I got, but was hoping to get more "Re-routes!!!!" I am happy I got one of them at least!!!! :!:

What
EMD "Demo" train is this? This is a great train to catch!!!! Is this going to be a "Re-route" train on the way to Royal Oak? If so, what time is it expected to down this way?

I missed the unit number on the way by and the computer locked up on me so I wasn't able to look back on my stream but I want to say it was 6016 or 1016, something to that effect. If the durand scanner is online you should be able to hear the lead unit number there when it makes the turn. 116 usually runs at night but should stop in pontiac then continue to moterm with its intermodal which is what the majority of the train was today. I'm not real familiar with the track layout over there so I cant be more help. It's crossing the 219 detector right now with 472 axles.

Robert, this is not a reroute but it will go through Royal Oak. It should go through Royal Oak in the next 2 to 4 hours.

L533 transferred some cars from Port Huron non-stop to Detroit (East Yard) and returned light (GTW 4929) at 18:50. Only daily movement on the MTC sub since the derailment. Still can't overcome the patina ! The silence is welcomed by the locals, but cacophony returns this coming week.
