502 was by Troy at 3:40am. CN 2313 and CREX leaser. 462 axles on the 17.9 detector.

122 and 391 have swapped crews and 122 is good to head south. 391 is in the south side siding and will hold there for 116 which is at Vernon now.

CN 5459 and BLE 878 went north By the Pontiac amtrak station at 10:53 p.m.

Hey, where is this "Bessemer" engine headed? I have been wanting to catch that!!!!

I just did an edit to add to that post before I saw this. I am fairly certain the was 514 and on the way back to Flint

OK kc8bdr, so this was train 514? Do you think it will have the same power Saturday, 7-6? I plan on "Railfanning" Royal Oak that day and hope to see this "Bessemer" engine!!!!
What are the "Usual" times train 514 heads south through RO? It would be great to get BLE 878 leading!!!!

Now, on Monday July 1st (when we were out to Pt. Huron/Holly), we passed "Bristol Yard" near Flint because of the below post by blueheron13!!! I noticed he states a EB train with BLE 878 "Charged Through" Durand!!!! I was thinking that meant it probably was heading to Flint─but we did not see the "Bessemer" engine there just after 5 p.m. Man,
I was hoping to photograph it there!!!! Does anyone know where BLE 878 went Monday, 7-1, afternoon? Now I hope to catch it on train 514 this Sat. 7-6!!!! Wow, is this that same train which has run multiple times per day to Ferndale recently? Please help!!!!

With regard to the BLE engine:

When that 504 was going east on Monday, I believe I heard that it was going to work in Lapeer. And maybe it had to go all the way to Port Huron to deliver cars for Lake State there? So that may be why it wasn't in Flint at that time you were there.

Anyway, yesterday this engine took 514 from Flint to Moterm to Flint in the evening, and early this morning (July 4), I saw it on the Durand cameras arrive at the yard in Durand with another engine and grab some cars to take east, presumably to Flint.

116 at 11:53 PM, the first half was Intermodal, with the rest being all autoracks
