Y121 CSX 2001 pushing caboose, 2 boxcars north at Riley St. Holland 5:12 PM. Heading back south with 1 boxcar 5:30.

BNSF 5809 just passed through Vine (Glenlord Rd, Stevensville) with another BNSF unit and 10 gons of new ties. Moving slow. 17:25. (Is this the CSX or BNSF?! I’m starting to get confused...)

Edit: train is D802-07. Sounds like the plan to go to New Buffalo, drop off the loads and bring back empties.

WB mixed freight just turned north at Plymouth and went into North Yard. CSX 4081 + 8662 + 4225 + 974 + 10 cars. About 1/2 hour later, 8662 + 4081 went to East Yard.

NB grain empties just cleared Lilley Rd. CSX 5454 + 3148 + 82 cars, mostly beat up with INTX reporting marks. Turned west.

Y121 was busy in Zeeland, setting off 4 covered hoppers at Van den Bosch Feed, bringing them up to about 8 cars so far this year. Zeeland Lumber’s spur was empty, but they’ve been averaging 4-6 Lumber loads per week.

MPC Cashway Lumber in north Lansing had a centerbeam load earlier this week, only about their 4th car of the year unless they unload more in the back where they can’t be seen from Grand River.

Late report: D708 had 6 cars eastbound today.

Q32909 arrived in Howell at 09:00, departed Fowlerville at 10:00 with red blocks in between the two. Two consecutive numbered locomotives today, CSX 5394+5393 with 106 cars. Another 30 or so at Lansing to pick up if they get them. Earlier, Q32809 went east by Howell at 06:15 with CSX 5276+3276 and 115 cars. Earlier than that, V76409 grain empty with CSX 5454+3148 and 90 cars went to Webberville I believe. First grain in a month or so.

D70009 west by Bangor at 11:14am. CSXT 6549 leading 2 tank cars, 3 tall gons for Hartford, and 3 steel coil cars. Unknown if they'll go west of St Joe today as N80008 and Q32609 are stuck west of the bridge at St Joe. Hearing bridge is stuck open.

What I assume is Q326 is passing Vine now, 14:04. Bridge must be unstuck. I say assume, because I can’t listen to the scanner at work, but I can see the tracks from my office.

A G-010 crew has picked up the empty fertilizer train at Webberville and is currently in Fowlerville running around their train at 16:20 with CSX 332+3458 to take it back west to GRP after eastbound D70809 gets into the siding. If the empty grain train reported earlier today was for Webberville, then it still has not been spotted yet and remains at Williamston. Still all red blocks in both directions at the east end of Fowlerville.
