Train 116 just went SB past MP 22.5 at 6:16 am following Amtrak 351 down the Hill. From Jim's report above, 116 must have sat at Pontiac Yard for four hours or so before it was recrewed and sent south. It did have mixed freight on both ends today.

I missed catching the southbound that met 391 at Holly this morning I heard the horn in the Williams Lake Rd. area about 3:45 AM. My best guess is that was 116 but never did confirm it.

Just got to thinking that I never have heard any references to intermodal leaving Moterm southbound with the exception of 533 taking some up the Mt. Clemons Sub.

Is there anything going south other than what 533 may take?

Blue GT GP38-2 5847 is leading (yes leading) six CN locomotives on Train 371, flying up the Hill past MP 22.5 at 50 mph cleaning out its carbon, the crew very pleased with themselves, waving and honking as they passed at 5:25 pm, trying to beat Amtrak 355 out of Pontiac.

And right behind Amtrak at 6:06 pm is 5456 heading to Moterm lite for the container shuttle to Pontiac.

Last night on the Holly south of Pontiac:

I didn't see but heard a NB around 7:30 pm and figured it was 513 bringing the containers to Pontiac. I also never saw 391 last night but was out until 8:30 pm so may have missed it. Around 9:30 it seemed like another 513 went south with a few cars, followed by a short road freight which may have been 502. Then I heard something NB around 2 am that was either a late Amtrak 354 or returning 513.

As to Jim's container question, there are no containers that run south on GTW/CN other than 533 that just takes them round the sugar house at Milwaukee Jct to take them north/east on the Mount Clemens. I am presuming those are all containers headed east now out of Port Huron whereas the ones 513/391 are handling NB on the Holly go west?

533 was by Milwaukee Jct around 6.30pm yesterday, returning back to Port Huron. 391 passed over the Davison Freeway around 7.30pm yesterday.
