I heard a long and very fast SB pass MP 22.5 around midnight. Maybe 502? I heard another SB around 3 am and presume that was 116 as at 8:20 am two light locomotives, a Citi lease one and a CN, drifted NB towards Pontiac, probably off it from Moterm, meaning it had no mixed freight today.

Train515 with 5289 again was SB at 9:20 am passing MP 22.2 with a long train mostly of loaded centerbeams.

Another eb by 205 at 1355. 2 cn. Only caught the front half of the train but all I saw was auto racks.

So does the CN coal train come up from the NS in Toledo, then up the Shoreline Sub, or from Chicago onto the CN via the SouthBend / Flint / Holly Sub?

The CN coal trains have been coming up from the south from Toledo. My understanding is that loaded NB trains are C783 and empty SB trains are C782. I don't know how often they run, or how many months they have been running. I haven't seen either one myself yet. I would also like to know where exactly the train is transferred from NS trackage to CN trackage. Maybe they go to/from Flat Rock like L585? Or maybe they come into Lang Yard from the south and go up the Shore Line? I have no idea!

Train 371 NB passing MP 22.5 at 7 pm with 5456, 2156 and NS 9297 a bit late today and with a good cut of cars for Pontiac on the headend.

Train 515 returning to Pontiac with 27 cars passing MP 22.5 at 7:21 pm.

Train 391 with 2706 and UP 9520 and a very short train NB past MP 22.5 at 8:19 pm.

371 just going over the detector near Gaines at MP 59.9. NS 9297 and CN 2156. 540 axles.

They wyed it in Pontiac, and setout the CN 5456.

HESR 2026 will be heading north from Durand with 50 cars.

L505 is stopped at New Lothrop Road.

An extra container train is rolling NB past MP 22.5 at 6:30 am with the power off of yesterday's 116, Citi 1512 and a CN.
