Sometime today GRE went back west. Long line of cars on the interchange track at Ann Street around 5:30pm. GRE has been working on the interchange track off and on all week, still a big pile of ballast next to it.

Those are all empties. GR is rebuilding the interchange track (1 of the 2) and some bridge work. Still going to be working on the track next week.

I've seen more GDLK guys there than GR guys... Mayhaps they finally got to the change of ownership...

MMRR Alma Crew is on duty at 0700 for short work along the St. Louis Sub. Motor is in the barn here in Alma too. They should have their track warrant and be heading out of town by 0800 or sometime near there and working east, then back west. Then for all of the GRE guys, tomorrow sounds like the Alma crew will be driving over and working over there. Normal start time, (0700) but obviously they have to drive over, so since I have only caught the GRE once, I have no idea when they get over to Ann St. or wherever the motor is sitting.

They're usually moving between 9 and 10 if the Alma crew is working the GRE. The engine is almost always in the barn in Grand Rapids unless the crew runs out of time (like they did last Thursday). Thanks for the update!

I wasn't sure how they dealt with the motor over there. I know over here they try to keep the motor in the barn as much as possible during the colder months, and during the warmer months, they usually leave it wherever they finish the day's work at.

Afaik, MMRR was on duty at 0700 this morning in Alma. Should be loading a grain train in Hemlock all day. If it's not taken off today, it'll be taken off tomorrow in Paines.
