The first NB out of Plymouth is Z491, a train of grain empties. Clearing Middle River. And so it begins. CSX 3351 + 90 cars.

Sorry for the late heads up, but perhaps this can be used for future reference. A northbound Lake State manifest was crossing Lahring Road north of Holly, MI at 2:30pm. Power was 6302 (long hood forward) and 1166 (front forward) and a long train. It was going pretty slow.

SB came off LSRC and turned east at Plymouth jus now. Missed the engines, but from the scanner sounded like it had 77 cars. It is not stopping at East Yard.

NB Z491 clearing Plymouth diamond. CSX 3370 + 8568 + 90 cars.

Today was something unusual. Empty grain cars spotted at Gavilon Grain in Carrollton Mi with UP 4518 leading the UP 4271 and UP 6000 three big units switching on that spur was a rare sight. Got many pics.

Grain train with unknown power sitting under I-75 just south of Wixom pointing North.
