A SB just went past MP 22.5 at 5:53 am, what would have been Amtrak 351's slot if it was running. Didn't see it but presume it was 116. It was moving rather fast irrespective of it being minus 15 degrees out.

At 6:30 am another SB passed MP 22.5. Mixed freight. Short train. Can't guess its symbol.

PTC Test Train NB past MP 22.5 at 10:57 am. There is a 5600 or 5700 SD75 that usually leads and SD60 5463 trailing. They must wye it at Milwaukee Junction.

OK guys, I want to be able to photograph these "PTC TEST TRAINS" this weekend!!!! I'll be on the lookout for them; I hope they stay around here for a while!!!!

Good morning everyone. Cn 5746 and 2666 slowly pulling a wb manifest by 205 at 0856. Lots of 2 bay covered hoppers and empty wood cars.

SD40-2 5930 working Pontiac Yard. Looks like tank cars in today’s consist. Lots of empty center beams stored in the yard.

And it just went SB past MP 22.5 with a shorter train of just boxcars and tanks at 10:29. Looks more like an old 950 train instead of 515 as no lumber cars or covered hoppers. Maybe it is a 950 and 515 will come later. Hey AARR, is there another crew working Pontiac right now?

Right behind the local is another PTC test train heading south. This time with a different caboose, a red one. Time: 10:34 am.

Wb manifest by 205 with 2 cm elephant style at 1035

As a matter of fact there is another crew building a short train of loaded center beams, a few tank cars and an empty flat car with racks near the old round house. It was one of the GP38-2's but I didn't catch the number.

The "other" PTC caboose is sitting in the middle of Pontiac Yard.

149 currently stopped at sheldon st in Charlotte flagging the crossing 1152

The Mount Clemens sub has been extremely busy in the past 24 hours with 7 manifests, 2 intermodal, 2 locals, at least 2 PTC test trains, and a light engine move. Cold temps having little effect, as most are flying up and down the line at track speed. Just heard another fly through SB - very short - either another PTC or light engines.

Train 950 we will call it today NB flying past MP 22.5 at 1:46 pm with 5930 hauling a short train of all boxcars on its way back to Pontiac.

Train 371 NB past MP 22.5 with two CN locomotives elephant style and that red/orange CN boxcar right behind them at 3 pm.

533, CN 5475 done spinning the engine at Milwaukee Jct, now going north to Moterm with 4 empty centerbeams and intermodal.

399 by 205 with cn 8836 leading csx 7676 at 1806

Eb manifest by 205 at 2015 with 3 units. Fairly short train

371 by 205 at 2103. That box car looks like the same thing I saw on that stack train last week. It had red indicator lights on the side when it came by.
