There was an another extra container out of Moterm last night. It went by my house just south of Pontiac around 11 pm.

It sounded like there was yet another extra container train out of Moterm last night. Went NB past MP 22.5 around 11 pm. Long train with a DPU in the middle from the sound of it (the reason I presume it was a container train, plus the time). Is 533 still handling containers on the Mount Clemens I wonder or is this a new train on the Holly replacing 533 or at least handling its container traffic?

Also heard an SB around 5 am flying down the Hill past my house. Probably a 280.

I read a report on the Holly Sub Facebook Group that M391 picked up intermodal last night on its way north. I didn't see M391 but did see L533 at Caniff Ave heading south toward Milwaukee Jct on its way back to Port Huron and noted that it was considerably shorter than an average L533 heading to Port Huron. Maybe there are some changes in the way CN is moving around its container traffic.

This is interesting. I did not see 391 last night and figured it didn't run. When I heard the middle of the train power as that 11 pm train was going by I figured it was a container train as those are the only that ever get DPU's on the Holly regularly. Maybe they did it with 391. I will have to keep my eyes and ears open.

Train 515 with 5930 NB past MP 22.5 at 4:15 pm on its way back to Pontiac.

And right behind 515 is a late 371 with two CN locomotives passing MP 22.5 at 4:25 pm.

Amtrak 350 had five coaches and no baggage buffer car today.

What looked like a 280 with one CN locomotive was SB past MP 22.5 at 7:20 pm.

And right after 280 was 391 with a CN leading a BC red cowl and two UP locomotives ( the UP probably from a 280 that went SB this morning at 5:00 am).
