329 has stalled just east of GR near the Thornapple River bridge, blocking Whitneyville Rd but not visible from the 48th St underpass at the river. Spotty scanner reception, something about "dead." Doesn't sound like they went dead on time, but that's possible. More likely some kind of trouble with the power.

Per dispatcher scanner feed archive: 1pm, lead loco at MP 138.3, Q329 lost everything, calling mechanical. all traction motors down, rebooting computer. lost all tractive efforts, engine idling. after mechanical call, compressor is "gone", no dynamic brake or battery charge. Going to grab D700's power, Y106 crew likely to take that power out to Q329.
