D700 local freight with 1 CSX engine & 14 cars westbound (south) with 14 cars at Bangor mp CG60.7 @ 08:04:58

Q329 west approaching Seymour. CP 8706 solo.

At 11:08am, the DD at mp CG91.9 reported Q326 with 589 axles (an error) & 7,938 feet long. Been noticing DD91.9 has been adding 1 axle lately to some trains (possible noisy transducer sensitive to any wheel impact vibrations). Noticed later on the DD at mp CG19.1 had done the same thing with a different train.

By Howell at 07:17 with 31 cars. Q32827 went east at 06:45 with the two UP units reported on yesterdays Q326. 89 cars today to make up for only 4 cars yesterday.

D700 westbound (north) with CSX6545 & 13 cars (1 less than earlier today) arrived Bangor mp CG60.7 @ 11:45:40
D700 at Pullman mp CG48 @ 12:02pm.

Q326 arrived Bangor mp CG60.7 @ 12:11:24 with CSX3164 + CSX10 with 144 cars. Stopped at Grand Junction mp CG53.9 to get pushers.
Q326 stopped at Pullman mp CG48 for an unknown reason @ 13:01:50. Brakes were being applied as soon as the train came into view & still sitting as of 13:10hrs. Started moving again at 13:18hrs.
Q326 cleared Pullman mp CG48 @ 13:25hrs and had CSX3092 + CSX920 as the added pusher engines.

Y106 eastbound at Breton at 16:06. Might be the latest I've ever seen them going east by here.

LOOKS LIKE THEY WENT INTO EMERGENCY BRAKE APPLICATION COMING ACROSS THE GRADE CROSSING. IF THEY HAD HIT SOMEONE OR SOMETHING THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE MUCH LONGER THAN 17 MINUTES.

Q327 arrived Bangor mp CG60.7 @ 20:53:18 with a Canadian Pacific engine #8706 and 64 cars.
Cleared the Defect Detector at mp CG91.9 at 10:10pm

Once again, Q328 & Q329 was by Howell this morning at approximately the same times again with another meet in Brighton. Q32828 went east at 06:54 with CSX 3164+10 and 69 cars. Q32928 went west at 07:30 with UP 8518 and NS 9633, both units facing west, with 38 cars,

GLC was over on CSX at Howell early last evening setting off 52 cars in the Howell passing siding and picking up 61. First time I have heard the RN dispatcher ask GCL the same multi questions they ask other trains now regarding PTC, if they have enough power to move the train, if they are a Key train, etc. GLC didn't know what to make of all the questions.

BNSF 8529, 6012 north at Riley St. Holland 10:09 AM. CSXT 3092, 920 pushing.

Q329 approaching Pleasant St in GR. Aforementioned UP and NS power with 52 cars.

Q326 arrived Bangor mp CG60.7 @ 12:12:45 with CSX5221 + CP8706 and 97 cars
Arrived at Pullman mp CG48 @ 12:32:25

D708 EB thru Lansing at 14:10 with CSXT 8048 and 28 cars.

BNSF 6012, 8529 light power south at Riley St. Holland 3:48 PM.

Coal loads currently between MI City and New Buffalo.

Q327 arrived Pullman mp CG48 @ 20:35:21 with UP8515 + NS9633 and 115 cars. Routed into Grand Junction siding mp CG53.9 to clear up for N800.
Q327 arrived Bangor mp CG60.7 @ 21:27:30

N800 arrived Bangor mp CG60.7 @ 20:46:44 with 2 BNSF engines + 1 Citirail engine and 130 cars. N800 will be going into Wells Siding mp CG43.3 to await pushers.
N800 arrived Pullman mp CG48 @ 21:11:46

Q327-28 is currently going through St. Joseph. Sounds like UP 8515 leading.

Q328 & Q329 met in South Lyon this morning at 07:00. Q32829 by Howell at 06:25 with CSX 5221 & CP 8706 and 104 cars. Q32929 went west at 07:30 with CSX 203 single unit and 43 cars. Overnight, a G-013 crew took a westbound empty 89 car grain train to Webberville and had it spotted by 01:00. CSX 280 on the lead. Did not see what was behind it, but it will be back east in a day or so as the power stayed at Webberville.

Another grain empty just went west by Howell at 09:30, this one for Grand Ledge I assume. V768, with CSX 585+7810 and 90 cars.
