CSX Train Location Updates: December, 2018.

Q326 arrived at Bangor mp CG60.7 at 15:49:30 with the CSX 137 + 7794 and 77 cars.

Q326 arrived Pullman mp CG48 @ 16:07:05

​At 16:48 the DD at mile post CG19.1 reported Q326 with 320 axles.

Grain Load from Grand Ledge, I believe, went east by Howell at 17:25. CSX 5302+3197+341 with 91 cars. Following close behind was Q32811 with CSX 7706+4000. Q328 had 65 cars into Lansing and 50 cars out. 7706 looked strange has it was approaching after dark with only one ditch light working. Engineers side was burned out.

SB mixed freight cleared 7 Mile Rd. at 19:10. Scanner was garbled. CSX 29 + 8446 + 28 cars. Would normally have thought this would be D736, but consist was a bit unusual - about a dozen loaded log cars near the front, and an empty depressed flat near the rear. The rest were a mix of tankers and boxcars.

Q327 clipped a truck near the track, damage to multiple cars` handholds on the conductor side. Waiting to hear more info as to where this has happened - anyone hearing anything with a scanner? Q327 can't be too far out of Grand Rapids at this time.
Sounds like this happened in the Granville area mp CG6.
Q327 cleared to move and track inspector says no problems with the rails - at mile post CG6.3 a parked car too close to the track was clipped by Q327 at some parking lot.
Now sounds like Q327 will be sitting in the Grandville mile post CG6 area to wait for Amtrak #370 before continuing on.

MMRR 2019 is currently in Manistee on Marquette Rail getting new trucks. HESR 2025 is the only engine currently on the Michigan Shore. 2019 is expected to return when it is finished being worked on.

D708 is currently switching Ensel CSX 8048 and what looks like a D8 or AC44CW 2nd out

Q32912 by Howell at 15:22. CSX 4385+323 with 61 cars. D708 currently in the siding switching Fowlerville with the 8048 leading, and now 7794 trailing which was sat off at Lansing this morning by Q32812. 328 in turn picked up 4385 that's been on D708 for nearly two months. Wont the crew on D708 be surprised to see the unit that they had for two months staring them in the face only ten hours after it was picked up in Lansing, and now coming out of Detroit. Q32812 left GRP this morning with CSX 137 leading and was by Howell at 06:37 with 29 cars. Perhaps 4385 will return back to Lansing on tomorrows Q328 and sat back off again and they will never even notice it was even gone.

E800 around Grand Junction. If I heard correctly, sounds like loaded coal at Riverside & Gross. Q327 around Wells, just called dispatcher, having issues with dynamic brakes on lead unit.
