Didnt realize the Mt Clemens siding could hold 31 cars.

The 30 containers mentioned were distributed among 4 5-pack well cars, so the train was not that long. With regard to the siding itself, it's a little better than 3000', and I've seen trains in there with 40 60ft cars. I'm sure they could squeeze a few more in there between signals if necessary (depending, of course, on the length of the cars). Last nights trains were a perfect example of the added CTC versatility on this line, where a dispatcher was able to stash trains in all the existing sidings while keeping the mainline flowing.

In Battle Creek Yard earlier, IC 9571 was moving what looked to be a modified red boxcar possibly CN0040. Maybe some kind of MOW car? They have been doing track work in the yard the last couple days.

There was a 513 that ventured onto the Holly south of Pontiac last night. I saw it returning to Pontiac passing MP 22.5 at 3:40 am with 6221 and one or two boxcars.

Train 515 slowly rolling south past MP 22.5 at 10:30 am following Amtrak 353. Missed the power. Amtrak 353 had all Heritage equipment today.

At 11:30 am a SB doublestack went by MP 22.5 with a single CSX locomotive and short train. Maybe that international one?

At 12:40 on I heard what was probably 451 blowing for Opdyke Road crossing at MP 22.2. I out walking and didn't see it.

Well, I take the above back. Train 451 with five locomotives is NB right now at 2:53 pm past MP 22.5. The earlier one I heard was something else. Maybe the light power from that stack train this morning going to Pontiac to lay over.

Train 116 SB passing MP 22.5 at 6:46 am with a UP leading a CN and GT 6223 trailing. Long train. A lot of mixed freight at the head end.

Eb manifest at maple at 1407. From the consist looked like maybe 502. 933 working th4 auto dock

A very late 451 is NB passing MP 22.5 at 4:44 pm at a crawl with a CN 5700 leading a UP locomotive. Both locomotives working hard so probably a long train.

Returning Train 515 NB past MP 22.5 at 5:40 running about 60 mph with 6221 in a hurry to get back to the barn.

L533S finished working Mount Clemens and departed for East Yard and Moterm at 18:28. GTW 5847/CN 8850.
