Returned to Cadillac at 1650. Watch the kid at the end. I thought they were up to something.

I haven't seen any in a couple weeks. I've not been able to catch all the trains lately, both incoming or outgoing, so it is possible I've missed them.

397 and 398 leaving Cadillac for Clare at 1015 with 21 cars. 11 for McBain including 3 empty centerbeams. Good to see all the lumber traffic leaving McBain. Almost every train to Clare lately has an empty for the sawmill.

Looks like today's northbound out of Owosso has 329 and 390, was in Rosebush a little while ago per a Facebook update.

Also, 382 is currently being repainted at Owosso.

Returned to Cadillac at 1650.

Drove past the two yards in Cadillac this afternoon. Selma Yard is looking pretty bare. A string of coke hoppers and a string of ties and an empty centerbeam. North Yard is packed with cement hoppers, plastics hoppers and tanks. There are 5 ex-TSBY hoppers on the southern end, but didn't look like anything for TC unless its well hidden.

Seems like the MAC transload at North Yard will be shipping sometime soon

398 should be in TC. A friend sent me a photo of it solo along Keystone Rd.

398 just crossed over Holiday rd. pulling an empty center beam back from Williamsburg.

Leaving Cadillac for Clare at 1140. Caught 41 cars including 1 empty centerbeam and 2 Beacon gons from TC.

Currently switching Selma Yard. The color tour consist is spotted in the north yard behind Family Video. No action at the MAC facility yet.

A quartet of locos took a small train south from Owosso this AM. It returned after lunch with a hopper train - destination unknown.

397 and 398 left Cadillac for Clare at 0920 with 4 tie loads and the 11 car color tour consist. Here's the chance to see a caboose at the end of a train.

Power heading south was 392+390+329+395. They came to Ann Pere to set off car with CSX and went to Osmer to pick up an empty grain train. Back north thru Howell around 1pm.

398 and 397 returned to Cadillac at 1630 with 25 cars. Nothing for TC.

It seems ONTN is currently operating on a quasi 2nd/3rd shift due to track work, and will be for a week or two. I'm unsure where this work is taking place or what precisely it is.
I'm assuming this means that ONTN and CSTN are still hauling freight to Clare, but just collecting/dropping it 10-12 hours apart.
