GRE returned to GR today, light around 1:30pm (I know it is September now). Lowell tracks are almost full with hoppers, and looks like track work started south of the Grand River.

West Michigan RR left 1 empty plastics hopper and 3 loaded rubber hoppers for D700 at the interchange last night in Hartford.

JAIL today at MA in Lansing:

NB at 09:10 with 3 coil cars (2GTW and 1CSX)
SB at 12:15 with 6 boxcars and 2 CSXT coils.

Just the 1751 for power today.

This is not much of a location update anymore, but MQT was north out of Grand Rapids at 11:30 today with MQT 4023, MQT 3389, MQT 3408, MQT 2041, TPW 4056 and 139 cars. I managed to catch them at Turner Street around noon.

GRE --- EB Leonard at 9:55 with six CHs, only two of which look to be for King. Pumpkin back on point for power, with a horrible (at least in my opinion) horn.

GRE - WB Leonard at 2:13 with 11 CHs (7 of which looked to be King) and one tank.

I forgot to mention i was in Mason Mi on Wednesday evening and the 1751 and 1758 were coupled to 15 empty coil steel cars south bound on the J&L. And yesterday the same two units where there just light power. And the 1760 was sitting off to the side.

MQT rail was north at West River drive at 12:45.

GDLK southbound past three Rivers with 25 cars at 2:15pm.
Into white pigeon 2:50pm. Gatx 2204 leading train.

I just went over the tracks of the GRE on I 196 and there was a eastbound going underneath.

I was inside the Michigan Sugar plant in Croswell Mi yesterday and noticed there was 10 loads of potash spotted south of M90. I think it's called Helena Chemical.

JAIL sb at MA in Lansing at 12:05 with the 1758, a single boxcar with TR reporting marks, and 5 Procor Tankcars. Where are the tanks going? JAIL came north lite unit today.

Grand Elk at 28th st facing south with 3 matching black and yellow units. Looks to be the 4125 leading.

JAIL with the late run thru Lansing today. North at MA at 3:30 with 3NS coil cars. Then, at 4:15, the consist was south with 1758, 2 of the NS couls, 5 tankcars (GATX and Procor), another NS coul, and 1751. Not sure where these tanks are going but I suspect they are coming from one of the interchanges, CN or CSX.

GRE eastbound through Ada at 12:45. I don’t know what happened to the horn on 2104, but it sounds awful.

GRE returned WB around 4:oopm to Ann Street yard with 2 Amway tanks and looked like 8 hoppers from King. They spreading ballast around the Grand River bridge around noon.
