Train 451 NB past MP 22.5 a bit early today, around 10:10 am, with a narrow nosed CN GE leading a leased ex-UP and a BNSF. Amtrak 353 passed it going SB in my backyard.

Train 515 with 6221 and a rather long train was SB past MP 22.5 around 11:45 am.

I just read in a Facebook group that R950 has been eliminated, and that only L515 remains as far as daytime locals on the Holly.

Interesting. I didn't see a second local go by today but was out and about early and sometimes it goes by before 9 am. It seemed that 950 was getting shorter and shorter in length lately. And 515 did go by rather late so it might have been doing 950's yard work in Pontiac first. Bad sign.

Train 515 just went SB past MP 22.5. And get this, it had two locomotives, 6221 and 4632. And it was a long train again. So they must have combined the two south Holly Sub/Mt Clemens sub locals as reported above. Two locomotives might be needed to bring the longer train up the Hill in the afternoon on the way back? But it is mostly empties on that leg of the trip. Who knows?
