CN Updates: September 2018

Train 451 NB rolling past MP 22.5 at 12:37pm with four locomotives: CN followed by an UP then BNSF then Citi grey lease unit.

That weekly, usually on Thursdays, international doublestack train just went SB past MP 22.5 at 1:40 pm. One CN GE on the head-end, medium-length train, and CN 8819 on the tail end with its dynamics whining away as the train headed down Birmingham Hill on the way to Moterm.

The lite power from the doublestacked just drifted past my house on the way to Pontiac at 3:51 pm.

Edit to add:
This was train 280 I caught it at Williams Lake Rd. at 12:57 AM. BNSF 7687 leading, the trailing unit # was 4652 It got by me before I could catch a RR name but looked like a Kansas City Southern unit.

They are stoped at Pontiac as of 1:34 AM waiting for paperwork.

Train 451 passing MP 22.5 at 3:17 pm with a BNSF locomotive leading Kansas City Southern 4662.

Train 391 is NB past MP 22.5 at 7:37 pm, a bit earlier than usual and ahead of Amtrak 352 today. Short train. Two CN's powering it.

Around 6 pm this evening two light locomotives drifted south past my house. My guess is that they were the power on the extra doublestack train on Thursday and there will be an extra doublestack tonight out of Moterm.

Update from last night and this morning.

That extra Doublestack, I presume the returning weekly international one out of Prince Rupert, went NB past MP 22.5 at 10:10 pm last night.

This morning a SB followed Amtrak 351 down the hill, passing my house at 6:13 am. I presume it was 116 but didn't get up to see.

Train 451 with an NS unit leading a former CSX lease unit NB past MP 22.5 at 2:55 pm. I haven't seen an NS unit or, come to think of it, one of the former CSX units in awhile.
