Back before Beacon started rail up again, I seem to remember someone posting in here that they do on occasion go both Northern branches making a long day. Might have been coming up on a holiday and they wanted to get cars out.

That's only when they go as far as Elmira and then to TC, not all the way to Petoskey.

I just finished re-decking my deck with composite boards from EVERHEART. My deck passed right past the road I live on (Holiday Rd.) in Traverse City and on to Amerheart in Willamsburg. Then trucked back to Traverse City to Northern Lumber who delivered it ti me Kind of a roundbout way as they crossed Holiday Rd. three times. The deck is great, thanks to Northern Lumber and GLC to get it here.

I spoke with crew today at 10am.
GLC not running out of Owosso today due to track work.

Duncan, they are apparently running to Osmer tomorrow morning, so maybe I’ll see you there!

And I have neither seen or heard anything in Cadillac today.

Sorry, I'm up on vacation in Traverse City and will be back in Ann Arbor around 2pm tomorrow. I don't think I'll be able to make it to Osmer.

Just had 4 engines pass the old depot in Howell. Guessing they're headed to Ann Pere.

They are at Osmer at 11:12. Getting a train train to go north.

Departed osmer 11:35

12:15. Stopped at Chilson in to pick up more cars.

392 389 329 & 382

By Howell at 13:10.

Crossing the CN at Durand at 14:04.

They picked up 10 TSBY covered hoppers from the siding at Chilson. Todd F suggests that those are headed to Beacon in TC.

At Durand, GLC took the TSBY cars and headed north, leaving the Osmer train on the main.

HESR grabbed that quickly and headed towards Saginaw.
