CN Updates: July 2018

A very short 116 by East Lansing at 23:06 with one NS engine.

There was one by the detector MP 59.9 at 12:06 AM 1473 feet long and 74 axles.
then at 12:18 AM, one at 782 feet and 48 axles. I am guessing the first is 116 with 514 behind.

Also heard a mention of a train 280 at Walton. About 12:17 AM.

Caught both at Williams Lake Rd.

First was 116 with NS 3631. at 12: 42 AM

The second one was 514 GTW 4912 and 11 cars. At 12:57 AM.

Yep, it is 280, they cleared the detector MP 59.9 at 2:37 AM. 5858 feet, 254 axles.

Eb manifest by 205 at 0622. 4 cn the last of which was a standard cab ge. A few pretty neat loads. A couple gons of fresh ties and some I beam on a center beam.

Heard two trains go SB last night past MP 22.5 The first was around 2 am and I presume that was 116 that Jim reported on. The second was around 4 am and I presume it was the 280 that Jim reported on in Pontiac earlier. I don't think we have had a 280 in a few weeks.
