I do believe the river traffic has the right-of-way. The Samuel de Champlain normally runs with the barge "Innovation."

I believe you are right, river traffic has priority. But the tug just called and the bridge is already closed. So 370 wins tonight.

I do wonder if any boaters listen to my Broadcastify channel to hear where the trains are.

This mornings Q328 & Q329 meet was in Brighton. Q32826, with CSX 3086+5396+5356 and 92 cars by Howell at 07:40, while Q32926 with CSX 8017+5418 was by Howell at 08:10 with 66 cars. Much work at Ensel upon their arrival.

Sounds like they are running as D80125 and sitting at Wells now awaiting Q326 to shove up Saugatuck hill, so I'd expect E80025 crew to get onto train a bit later today. D801 will grab 3 empties from their train as a buffer when pushing Q326. D70026 had an early start and tied up in Grand Rapids by 11am.

Y121 recent Zeeland activity:

On Monday, Y121 came to Zeeland around 8:30 to spot on covered hopper at Vanden Bosch feed, about their 12th car of the year. Reporting marks were ATW.

On Wednesday, Y121 came to Zeeland around 8:45 with one lumber load which they spotted at Zeeland Lumber. They also had in tow one SMW boxcar (for later drop-off to Stow, I think?) and their trusty caboose CSXT 904091.

On Thuesday, a little later in the morning, they returned to Zeeland to pick up both the Vanden Bosch and Z-Lumber empties. Power for this week has been GP38-3 #2030.
