Re: CN Updates: June 2018
Two lite CN locomotives drifted NB to Pontiac past MP 22.5 at 6:12 am. Maybe off an doublestack from Moterm?
At 6:51 am a doublestack went SB past MP 22.5. Train 116? Didn't see the power or whether it had any mixed freight but it wasn't too long.

L533S is in the siding at Mt. Clemens, and will meet M385. After switching customers in town, 533 has a long train and had to cut the crossing (Cass Ave.) while they
wait for 385.

Re: CN Updates: June 2018
Those two light CN locomotives I reported heading back to Pontiac this morning drifted SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly at 7:45 pm. I presume headed to Moterm for an extra doublestack but we will see.

Could you see if it had power on both ends or just the head end?Manistique wrote:What I will call Train 119, an extra doublestack train, is NB rolling past MP 22.5 at 9:45 pm.

M382, CN 5692, by Mount Clemens depot at 12:20. 3 units, 180 cars including a long cut of loaded CSX coal hoppers (steam coal for boilers at an eastern Canadian industry).
It appears that they utilize several hundred loads+ a year, and loaded coal traffic NB on the MTC sub has been fairly steady in the past months.
