382 and 329 leaving Cadillac for Clare at 1030. Looks like 397 is staying in town. 2 pulp wood, 11 cement, 4 tanks and 41 sand.

GLC 399+396+390 heading northbound out of Howell at 11:45 after making an Ann Pere pick up off of the CSX Howell passing siding.

Returned to Cadillac at 1615. Went to Yuma shortly after and back into town at 1850.

Going back to the early 2000's when Traverse City had three steady customers and the cement terminal in Elmira was busy TSB would usually assign three engines to Cadillac. One handled traffic on the lines north while another pair would handle the turn to Clare.

Leaving Cadillac for Clare at 1100.

Returned to Cadillac at 1630.

Update: 395, 392 and 397 left with 42 cars, 392 and 395 returned with 31 cars. Followed with a trip to Yuma and returning to Cadillac around 1830. There was a single gon in the return consist.

Hear them northbound out of Cadillac at 0930.

Rumored to be through Summit City a bit ago on the way to Traverse City with 5 gondolas. May have been lumber as well, it was just noted "why does the blue train have 5 flat cars with short sides today". LOL.

GLC currently switching Beacon...

Coming southbound in Howell passing the depot. 382 329 397 398 and 396. Looks like all grain cars.

So, GLC was at Beacon for about 30 minutes, now on their way to Williamsburg. Watched 395 and 392 lug 13 cars near Beacon. In the end, they left the empties on the siding, along with 6 more TSBY hoppers. Strangely, they pulled out the TSBY/AA double door box car that had been sitting at the far end of the siding for a few months and now it's setting on the main. Springs are compressed now (like something heavy inside). That box car remains a mystery.

3 man crew again today (seems to be the norm up here lately).

Also, GLC hi rail truck roaming on the passing siding in the old Boardman yard as GLC was passing on the main.

Now getting ready to head north from Ann Pere at 16:45 after picking up 30 some cars off the CSX passing siding at Howell, Strange, but the trailing unit heading south, 396, is again the trailing unit heading north. (or at least was when the train was moving west through Howell on CSX) Everything else is in the same order.

Back into Cadillac from TC at 1645.

Also, GLC hi rail truck roaming on the passing siding in the old Boardman yard as GLC was passing on the main.

Possible that it has the wheels from the scrapped cars? Or the truck frames?..

Sounds like they're working in Clare right now, 1340, fresh load at letherer truss

329 and 382 into Cadillac at 1545 with 37 cars.

I have not seen or heard anything in Cadillac as of 1015. I suspect they have headed Elmira/Petoskey direction before 0900.

Update: Returned to Cadillac from the north around 1800.

Looks like they came to TC again (twice this week) as the 6 hoppers at Beacon are moved and there are now only 3 DJJX gondolas there instead of 5. The box car is still spotted on the main next to the siding.

Are the hoppers in question small, 2-bay hoppers? If so, yesterday someone posted video on FB of a scrapping crane tipping one of them onto it's side. Someone also posted a a GLC pair (392 trailing, I believe) coming into TC with three deep gons, one green, perhaps.

382 and 329 left Cadillac for Clare at 1050 with 51 cars.
