With that ^^ big of an ONTN, I'm betting those three units go all the way to Cadillac.

I'm leaving work at 1645 and hear them crossing Paluster St south of town. I figure I can make it trackside from the office to catch them. Just made it in time to find a sunny spot between the trees lakeside. And that wind was wicked coming off the lake. But 3 locos and 81 cars, well worth the short jog.

Thanks for posting your video, AANR. I'm not sure how many 80 car trains there have been in Cadillac since the ferries quit operating in 1982. You may have captured a rare train 8) .

Likely feed or fertilizer to Rosebush, based on those times.

Heard them return from Yuma at 1410. Didn't hear exactly when they headed out there, they were still in Selma Yard around 1000. Heard them move to engine house around 1450.

72 cars out of Cadillac. This is Lucas.

82 cars out of McBain. Dropped off 9, picked up 19.

392 and 390 returned to Cadillac before 1700. Looked like tanks, coke, poles and sand hoppers were brought in. Maybe it will be sunny on my next day off.

I was beginning to wonder if you ever had a day off, Mark!
Gotta say, I love how wildly CSTN's make-up can change at McBain - excluding the sand hoppers, it was almost 2 completely different trains. Thanks for the video and showing a new location (Meyering Rd). My trips up there to chase don't usually offer much time for exploration and improvisation so I appreciate any opportunity to see other folks shots.

390, 392 and 398 left Cadillac towards Clare at 1000 with 2 pole loads and 13 tie loads. 398 must have been inside when I drove past last night.

Ann Pere turn. Dropping off what you saw, picking up 64 cars in the Howell pass CSX sat off yesterday.

Now northbound. The 382 was the second unit but couldn't see the lead.

Meyering Rd would have an interesting southward shot if you could get a tripod closer to the tracks on the west side of the crossing. Just past the trees at the end of the video there is a long stretch with a slight upgrade at the end allowing you to see the entire train.

Drove past Selma this afternoon. They brought the McBain outgoing cars into Cadillac again on Friday. 3 pole empties, 6 loaded wood chips and 5 empty gons. Also 33 sand hoppers brought back from Yuma.
