D70808 east by Howell at 16:45. Heading to South Lyon today to take WSOR 302 to Peaker.

Was it going to Peaker, or coming from Peaker? I thought it got dropped off there a few weeks ago on Q305.

Great Video of D708 at South Lyon and Peaker. Loved the graphics. What were all those semi trucks doing lined up along the one road? Have not been to the Kensington and Silver Lake Road area since I retired in 1999. On the other hand, have not been to many other places in this county since then either.

What I do know is that Gordon Food Service has some sort of plant there, and they always seem to send out a truck every 30 seconds. Constantly blocking up Kensington Road. Not sure who those extra trucks are affiliated with though.

Kensington gfs is a total nightmare. When I used to go there I'd spend most of the day there trying to deliver. With the eld mandate you will see a lot more trucks parked along roads near places like that because they can't legally leave and many companies won't allow them to stay on the property.

Overnight at Howell, Q33509 went west just after midnight, the only time it has not been pouring rain in the last 24 hours here, with CSX 3099+95+3202 and 143 cars. Q38410 went east at 02:28 with CSX 332+4557.

Amtrak Tulip Time special got zinged somewhere in IL/IN and was about 45 minutes late through Michigan. Thru Bangor @11:20.

Q326 clear Bangor at 12:36 with CSXT 225 and 4812 and 102 cars, including about 12 assorted boxcars right behind the power, and lots of tankcars.

Q327 is currently building their train at Wyoming Yard. CSX 3099 is leading.

Tulip Time Amtrak 375 West at Hartford right now. IDTX 4611 (leading) is defunct with wheel slip and traction motor errors along with an errant fire alarm. It is now serving as a very pretty cab car. Charger on the rear providing power. (Posting from aboard the train.)
