Leaving Cadillac at 1745.

Not 100%, but sounded like northbound out of Cadillac at 0945. There's a lot of background noise this morning so not entirely sure. Lot of cement hoppers in town.

As of 1245 they hadn't been thru Traverse City. I checked several crossings and also went South on River Rd. a few miles, no GLC today.

Left Cadillac for Clare at 1130. Looks like they ran to Petoskey and Elmira yesterday with what is in today's consist.



Returned at 1750.

GLC arriving in TC at 12:15pm, and apparently quite a sizable train from what I was told. We missed updates of what came into Cadillac yesterday, so not sure what came up here.

Well this was a surprise, I was coming out of GJ's store on Holiday Rd., TC and hear a loud horn near by. I scooted over to the tracks just in time to catch 392 and 396 with no cars headed East to Williamsburg. Did anyone else see them in town? With two engines here they maybe went to Beacon too? Was about 1340.

Back into Cadillac from the north at 1715. Hoppers to Beacon maybe?

Edit: A trip to the north end to extinguish a Culver's craving revealed 1 gondola and 2 empty centerbeams returned from TC.

23 car train to TC today! Mostly former Southern hoppers. 17 on Beacon siding and 6 parked on the main.

I noticed today the spurs by US-127 in Ithaca are finally cleared out, this latest scrap run must have done it.

Leaving Cadillac for Clare at 1035.

Returned to Cadillac sometime between 1600 and 1700. Drove past Selma Yard and looks like tie gons, coke hoppers, a pole load and an empty centerbeam came in.

392 and 396 leaving Cadillac for Clare at 1000 with 1 empty centerbeam for McBain, 1 pole load, 2 tanks, 10 tie loads and 3 tanks.

I hear cn brought a 4 truck deep well flat with a big transformer on it and some buffer cars to durand early this morning. No idea what its destination is. I saw an oversized load of substation parts nb 127 between alma and Ithaca a little after 10 am so maybe it's coming up glc.

396 and 392 returned to Cadillac at 1530 with 1 coke hopper, 1 covered hopper, 1 empty centerbeam, 1 pole load, 6 wood chip hoppers, 8 tie loads, 8 tanks, 1 covered hopper, 1 loaded centerbeam and 1 covered hopper.

There should be a fair amount of electrical hardware destined for the Elmira area for the new EJ (f.k.a. East Jordan Iron Works) foundry.
