Looks like Y106 is out at Elmdale running around their train as of 11:45am. Think D707 died at Lake Odessa this morning.

CSX 2030 with a boxcar and caboose south at Riley St. Holland 12:43 PM.

With the 181 cars on Q385 and 155 cars on Q326, that's 336 cars converging on GRP all at the same time, That ought to clog up the yard for awhile.

As of 3:15pm, y106 was on the main at fox in Grand rapids. Q385 was lined through the siding.
Now at 3:40, q385 has no signal, y106 is working advance packaging. Guessing q385 had issues on thornapple hill.

Question to anyone - How long will it take to classify 336 cars?

Depending on what shift, anywhere from a few hours to a day or so. Depends on how ugly the trains are that come in, you can switch out a train where everything is in 5 or 10 car blocks faster than every car having to go to a different track.

5pm, and q385 has a signal down the main at Fox in GR..hopefully they can get up the hill this time.

3348 leading a mixed freight east at Haggerty in Plymouth at 7:30. Can’t remember the trailing units # but I know it was an SD50-3

Q385 had twice the locomotives coming into Plymouth from Toledo with half the train but left two road units there for other trains, and then left for GRP with twice the train. Surprised they made Salem hill.

P370-30 is currently going through Benton Harbor. Sounds like IDTX 4601 leading.
9:33pm edit: Sounds like P370 is stopped in Benton Harbor with air compressor problems with the lead locomotive.
edit: 9:51pm: Sounds like there's an oil leak in the compressor, and there is no oil in the oil compressor....and they figure that they're not going anywhere for awhile.
