Two UP engines leading a pretty sizable stack train (easily over 100 cars) south through downtown Plymouth at 11:10. New to this so I don’t know what reporting marks this train has... hopefully I can be a little helpful in this thread tho!

Pulling into school, saw the crossing way down the road is activated. Perhaps a westbound.

welcome to the site! if you don't have a scanner, hard to get the symbols of the trains yourself. If possible, you can post the lead locomotive number or a car number that's on the train itself and someone can usually trace it and find out what train symbol it was. Thanks for posting.

Y121 CSX 2801 pushing caboose, 3 boxcars north at Riley St. Holland 10:40 AM.

Heading back south from Stow with 1 boxcar 11:01 AM.

They dropped off 2 centerbeams at zeeland lumber at 9:15 AM.

Power was 5468+504+415 with 193 cars. CSX 415 was the middle unit sandwiched in between the two CP units on the K862 potash train into GRP from Chicago yesterday. They pulled it out to add power for 384 last night. Q384 had to stop and flag all four crossings in South Lyon because of false activation, and were still on on and activating at daylight this morning.

Not surprising, considering the left east-facing Safetran light on 234335M is snapped off and hanging by its wires. Crazy weather.

q32618 east at Bangor at 11:58am, CSXT 8729 and CSXT 4083, 105 cars. Y106 was out near Alto MI at that time.

As of 3pm, sounds like Q326 stalled on saugatuck hill. Hearing q326 crew was taking their engines west at Saugatuck, and talking about pumping the air up and have to release 20+ handbrakes, so much have tied down the 2nd half of the train. Sounds like they were going through a work zone on the hill, restricted to 10mph. After they were already in that zone, it was upgraded to 25mph restriction. No pushers either, recipe for problems. After they stalled, tried to restart and just started rolling down the hill.

Q38516 by Breton Rd in Grand Rapids at 8:40pm. Q38418 is readying their train in Grand Rapids as well, CSXT 454 leading Q384.
