From scanner chatter, it sounds like D735's engine had mechanical issues at Milford Rd. and has halted. Has been there awhile, first heard something about a half hour ago. Heard dispatcher again and it sounds like it is still there.

Sounds like 384 just yanked a drawbar. They can set the car off but the falling drawbar may have done damage to the rail. The rn is calling the track dept and trainmaster.

They will be setting the car out at grand ledge so it must be west of there. 2150

The drawbar pulled out of the west end of the 7th car from the bottom around mp109. They left 6 cars behind to set off the damaged car in Grand Ledge. He was clear 108 at 2237. Once he's doubled back up 10mph slow order for the first train length. Debris from the drawbar is clear of the rails. It'll be a cold ride for that conductor back from GL. I hope he's got a warm jacket.

Sounds like q38505 is having some issues between fox and elmdale east of Grand rapids this morning. Q384 should be nearing Brighton eastbound in some good morning light.
Q385 stalled at MP141 which is just before the siding at Fox in Grand Rapids. Lots of ice on the rail, said there was no real issue with the power, but they didn't compensate for the ice and stalled. They cut the train in two, brought Q385 to Wyoming Yard. D802 crew then hopped on Q385's power and went to Fox to grab the 2nd half of the train.

UPDATE: Turned south and eventually cleared John Hix Rd at 12:10.

Sounds like q38505 is having some issues between fox and elmdale east of Grand rapids this morning. Q384 should be nearing Brighton eastbound in some good morning light.

Nothing more than the remains of what Q384 left with their drawbar incident. At the same time a G010 crew arrived at Webberville to put the grain load together, Q385 called at Plymouth and said they were ready to head west. When inquiring how long it would take to put the grain train together, and the answer was three hours, they were told to wait until both 384 & 385 got by to begin. The crew was later told to take their taxi to Grand Ledge and re-crew Q384 and take the train to Plymouth. The re-crew SW reported after 384 got there was actually crew #3; as crew #2 was the G010 crew.

Q38505 was by Howell at 03:08 with CSX 5218+8335 with 150 cars. Q38407 did not make Howell until 07:42 with CSX 5216+4071 and 75 cars. If Q38506 goes beyond Toledo today, they should have CSX 3393+3312+5422 for power, or, that is what it had on when heading north from Fostoria this morning at 10am. The Webberville grain load is still there not put together yet.

1830hrs: Q327 clear Zeeland with 91 colorful cars behind CSXT 5218 and 8335. Lol, saw the same power set on the headend of Q385 blocking Walbridge Road in Ohio yesterday!

Overnight, G944, aka G010 went east from Webberville just after midnight with 3045+888 and 89 cars. Right behind them, Q38408 with 5116+3166 went east with 63 cars. Q38506 went west at 03:16 with 3393+3312+5422 and 69 cars.
