451 good to depart northbound at 12:18 PM. Will be meeting a very early, or very late 116 at Holly. 116 cleared the Chicago Wye at 12:15 PM, 116 has CN 5774, CN 5670.

149 at Durand 12:28 PM CN 2192, CN 5719, NS 9020.

Edit to add:
451 had 244 axles at the detector MP 34.2, 12:32 PM. BNSF 4806 leading 451.

116 had 336 axles at MP 59.9 at 12:35 PM.

Well, a second NB freight is passing MP 22.5 on the Holly. This too looks like Train 451: tons of autoracks. CN unit, then a CSX lease unit, other CN and then GTW GP38-2 4905 trailing. So who knows what train is what today but it is always nice to have an extra train running through my backyard.

What looked like returning Train 950 (correction per next posting) past MP 22.5 at 2:25 pm with 4925 today.

That very late or very early 116 that Jim reported on is passing MP 22.5 SB on the Holly right now at 3:23 pm. Some mixed freight on the head end. Long train. Slowing down now so there must be someone working on the track in Bloomfield Hills.

Those trains today on the Holly were 253, then 451, and X116. Information is from the Holly Subdivision Facebook group.

253 has ran a few times recently when they have enough traffic to run it from Flat Rock.

Train 391 with 8881 and 2221 NB past MP 22.5 with a very short train (just a few cars) at 8:07 pm, just a few minutes behind Amtrak 352. Per the above post, I wonder why they ran that 253 when 391 had basically no train? My guess is that 253 stayed in Pontiac and it will be combined with 391? That makes no sense but neither does how railroads operate sometimes.

Different origin and destination points are a good start. 391 and 502 are Toledo trains.

253 continued north from Pontiac earlier. I caught both it and 451 at Gaines and Fenton respectively.

NSSD, I think I saw 502 based on your posts. I only saw about 30ish cars of mixed freight.

I’m not sure. If I’m hearing these radio calls right, 502 is holding at Cory Yard right now.

Confirmed: 502 is all set at Cory Yard

Train 116 was SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly around 3:15 am. Mixed freight on the headend and a shorter train.

I heard but did not get up to see another SB pass my house an hour later.
