Train 950 went south out of Pontiac just before Amtrak 352 this morning, a bit late for it, and it had 4925 as power today instead of what has been the usual 6223.

Train 515 SB past MP 22.5 at 11:07 with 6223 as power so she is still assigned to Pontiac. I presume IC 9560 is gone now.

At 11:30 am Train 451 was NB past MP 22.5 with a UP unit leading an ex-CSX lease unit and a CN unit.

Track geometry train went EB past the Durand cameras at 11:00 am this morning. Maybe it will be around Port Huron this afternoon?

There is an eastbound creeping through East Lansing at 21:33. I think there is a maintainer working at Trowbridge.

SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly at 6:30 am this morning. Might have been a 280. If it was 116 it had very few containers on it, mostly autoracks. Too dark to see and it was shorter than I expected and slipped by before I could look for containers.

Train 451 went NB into Pontiac around 11:30 am with two standard short hood locomotives again, I think the same two as the other day but in reverse order (a GE and a 5400 SD60).

Train 515 was SB out of Pontiac around 12:30 pm.

Train 950 returning to Pontiac past MP 22.5 at 2:40 pm with 4925.

Inspection Budd Car was at Pontiac around 2:30 pm waiting for Amtrak to pull into the station. Amtrak was at MAL but crew was working on switch going into station or crossover to Main 2 so it was waiting.

Around 2:45 workcrew cleared up so Amtrak went in but Inspection Budd Car called DS to cancel its trip down the Holly and tie up at Pontiac or Auburn (forget where that is). So Inspection Budd Car will head down the Holly tomorrow I guess.

Train 950 with 4925 NB past MP 22.5 at 2:50 pm. Train 515 working its way up the Holly but Yardmaster told it to stop at Moterm for instructions from Trainmaster. Funny what you can learn when you turn on the scanner. I think that 451 may be working its way up to Pontiac too right now. Listening for it now.

Auburn is the name of the Control Point where the north end of the wye meets the Holly Sub.

Light locomotive drifting south out of Pontiac past MP 22.5 at 7:05 pm. Think same thing happened last weekend too but never saw a it come back with a train.
